say hello!
Hello there, I'm a 18-year-old female student who resides in super sunny Singapore.
I turn a year older every year on 12 july.
I love going barefooted but no longer long bus rides. ):
I realise I have a bottomless pit for good food.
I am extremely lazy and pretty clumsy.
Happiness is nothing more than good health and bad memory.
Laugh as long as you breathe and love as long as you live.

    ball
I should start seeing naggings in a positive light 'cause people only nag when they truely care about you.
And besides I think they have a cause for doing so, especially at me, 'cause I'm totally screwing up my body. I have barely recovered (fever's gone and throat feeling better, no more headaches!) and I stayed up the whole of last night and went out for breakfast with Mel and JiaHua.

But at least breakfast and talking to Mel made me realise a very important point that I had known all these while, just that it didn't occur to me it was that, and that was what had been missing.

A ball doesn't start rolling unless someone pushes it.
In life, you can have your goals, your dreams, your aspirations, ideas and thoughts, but with no pushing force, all those remain as smoky images, something that is out of reach.
There can be people around egging the ball to move, but with no actual force to push the ball, the ball will not have the potential to propel forward.
Similarly, the ball may not always roll in a straight line. As the ball rolls off its course, it requires yet another force to steer it back to the correct lane, and this may happen not just once, but many more times.
What I'm saying is that sometimes you need more than just a "I'll support you no matter what you do." You need a base to start forming your wall, and how very difficult it is to start laying out your own base from scratch, with no knowledge and no aid at all!
And it doesn't help one bit when the people who can best offer their support believes right from the start that the wall you wanna build WILL topple.

From a very short conversation and a 25minutes journey back home, I have found out the push that I need, and it comes from the people closest to me, people sharing the same blood as those running in my veins.
Yet that is something they are so unwilling to give.
